While many of the rules & regulations may have changed over the years when it comes to getting a mortgage, some things remain the same…work with someone who knows all aspects of the business to be sure you’re being offered the best product available based on your specific scenario...don’t let your credit get pulled a bunch of times…and remember, just as important as the interest rate, is how much it’s costing you to get that rate.
As a Mortgage Broker, I only pull your credit once and then shop around to dozens of Lenders for you. The Lender that I place your loan with is based on which one is offering the best pricing based on your specific scenario. That Lender will pay, once the loan closes, so I don’t need to charge you. AND, in most cases, I can even provide you with a credit to cover your closing costs! While I have several Lenders that will go down to as low as a 580 credit score…if you have good credit, I have DOZENS of Lenders I can shop from!
I understand how important the purchase of a new home is to my clients. I also understand that the refinance of your existing mortgage is as equally important for clients looking to lower their rate or consolidate/pay-off debt.
